Who these terms apply to
These terms cover every appointment, package and gift voucher bought from Koralena, Autotehtaankatu 14, 23500 Uusikaupunki, Finland. By booking with us you accept them. If you book on behalf of someone else, pass the details on, especially anything about allergies or patch tests.
Bookings and confirmation
A booking becomes firm when we confirm it by phone, email or text. Slots longer than two hours, bridal work and colour correction are held with a deposit.
- Standard appointments can be booked up to three months ahead.
- A deposit of €80 applies to bridal bookings and to any appointment longer than four hours.
- The deposit is taken off the final bill and is refundable if you cancel more than 14 days before the date.
- We may ask for a patch test at least 48 hours before a first colour service. It takes five minutes and is free.
Cancellations, late arrivals and no-shows
Our stylists work by appointment, so a late cancellation leaves an empty chair that we cannot fill at short notice.
- Cancel or move your appointment at least 24 hours before the start time and there is no charge.
- Cancel within 24 hours and we charge 50 per cent of the booked service price.
- If you do not arrive and do not contact us, we charge the full price of the service.
- Arrive more than 15 minutes late and we may need to shorten the service or rebook it, since the next client is already waiting.
- Illness with a doctor's note is handled case by case, and we will always try to find a new time instead of charging.
Prices and payment
Prices shown on our website and price list are starting points. Length, thickness, the amount of product used and the time a service takes can move the final figure. We quote the full price before we begin, and you can stop the appointment at any point before work starts.
We accept card, cash and the common Finnish mobile payment apps. Invoices are available for corporate clients on request. If a quoted price and the final bill do not match, tell us before you pay and we will sort it out on the spot.
Gift vouchers and packages
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used against any service or retail product. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and the remaining balance stays on the voucher if you spend less than its value. If you spend more, you simply pay the difference. Packages bought in advance follow the same 12 month window unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Results, liability and changes to these terms
We do our best work on every client and we will always discuss what your hair can realistically handle before we start. If you are unhappy with a result, contact us within seven days and we will adjust it at no extra cost. We are not liable for reactions that follow from information you did not give us, such as undisclosed box dye, henna or a known allergy.
We may update these terms when our opening hours, prices or booking systems change. The version published on this page is the one that applies to your next booking.
